Yes. JeevSahara Foundation is registered under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act. You can claim 50% of your donation amount as a deduction on your taxable income, and you'll receive a receipt with our registration number.

Yes. We accept international donations through our secure payment gateway and are FCRA registered to receive foreign contributions. You can donate in USD, EUR, GBP, and other major currencies.

Yes. You can set up a recurring monthly donation through our Donate page — just choose "Monthly" as your frequency. You can cancel or modify it at any time.

Yes. You'll receive an instant receipt by email after your donation, including our 80G registration number, PAN, and everything you need for tax filing. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or contact us.

Our adoption process is simple: 1) Browse available dogs on our Adoption page. 2) Fill out the adoption application form. 3) We conduct a home check (virtual or in-person). 4) You sign the adoption agreement and take your new family member home! Read our full Adoption Process for more details.

The adoption fee is ₹2,500. This covers vaccinations, health checkup, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, and an adoption kit (food, leash, collar, and guide). It also helps fund care for the next rescued dog waiting for treatment.

Yes. We conduct home checks to make sure the dog will be in a safe, loving environment. If you can't meet in person, we offer virtual home checks via video call — this helps us match the right dog with the right family.

Absolutely. Many of our adopters live in apartments. We look for a safe, dog-friendly home with enough space and access to regular walks, and balcony safety is checked during the home visit.

We provide post-adoption support and guidance, and our team is available to help with any behavioral concerns. We also recommend professional trainers when needed — your dog's well-being stays our priority even after adoption.

You choose the duration. We offer short-term (1-2 weeks), medium-term (2-8 weeks), and long-term (2-6 months) fostering options, or you can foster a dog until it finds a forever home.

We provide everything you need — food, a crate, bed, blanket, collar, leash, ID tag, toys, and medical care. You provide the love, a safe home, and daily care, and every expense is covered by us.

Yes. We'll match you with a dog that gets along with your existing pets, using temperament testing and supervised introductions to make sure it's a good fit.

Absolutely. You'll have first option to adopt the dog if you decide to make it permanent — many of our adoptions start as foster-to-adopt arrangements.

We have a variety of roles: Dog Walking, Foster Support, Event Volunteer, Transport Volunteer, Content Creator, and Administrative Support. Find the role that fits your skills and schedule on our Volunteer page.

We have flexible options: Casual (1-3 hours/week), Regular (4-8 hours/week), and Event-based (as needed). You choose what works for your schedule.

No experience is needed. We provide training and orientation for every volunteer — whether you're a first-timer or experienced, you're welcome here.

Yes. JeevSahara Foundation is a registered non-profit organization under the Societies Registration Act. We are 12A and 80G registered, and verified on NGO Darpan. Our registration numbers are available on our Tax Exemption page.
